A pleasant, comfortable environment
We encourage all residents to personalise their rooms with their own accessories. As well as having your own personal space, we have a spacious lounge, separate dining area and a well trained team of dedicated staff to provide 24-hour support.

Gairloch House is situated in a quiet residential area of Clacton-on-Sea and is less than a 150 yards from the promenade and award winning sandy beaches. The railway station for those visiting by train is approximately a 10 minute walk.

At Gairloch House all of our bedrooms are large and spacious, with an en-suite and the Home provides care for 24 residents.

All rooms are wheelchair accessible with television and telephone.

There are miles of beaches to enjoy and just a walk from the central Clacton resort area along the seafront to the East to Holland on Sea or to the west to Martello Beach and St Osyth. Further round the coast Frinton and Walton on Naze are both approximately 8 miles away.

The Cavendish was built in 1919 by a former British Brigadier who had all the bricks brought down by boat from London. When the home was registered as a Care Home it was owned by a naval captain who sailed one of the largest oil tankers in the world, “The Cavendish”, which he named the home after.

At the Cavendish, all of our bedrooms are large and spacious, with an en-suite and the Home provides care for 21 residents.

All rooms are wheelchair accessible with television and telephone.

The Cavendish is set in beautifully landscaped gardens and is located a mere 10 minute walk from the town centre. It is positioned in a quiet residential area just close to the beautiful and unspoilt beaches of Clacton.

There are miles of award-winning beaches to enjoy, walk from the central Clacton resort area along the seafront to the East to Holland on Sea or to the west to the Blue Flag Award Winning Martello Beach, Jaywick Sands and on to St Osyth. Further round the coast, the resorts of Frinton and Walton on Naze are both approximately 8 miles away.

Winsford house was originally built in 1903 as a home for business men’s families who fell on hard times. It became a home for the elderly 30 years ago.

At Winsford House, all of our bedrooms are large and spacious, with an en-suite and the Home provides care for 38 residents.

All rooms are wheelchair accessible with television and telephone.

Winsford House is located in a quiet residential area of Clacton-on-Sea, close to the seafront, local amenities and town centre.
